Yoga for Men is a class with just men and will be focusing on exercises for the back and shoulders, overall suppleness, managing tension & stress, finding balance and improving sleep. A chance to start something you may have not tried before and gain confidence in it. Come as you are! Men and women are attending all classes.

Mindful Yoga
Mindful yoga is a calm and therapeutic form of Kundalini yoga. Mindful yoga is conducted gently and each participant does it to their own ability, listening to their body. The postures are held a shorter time and there are more rests during the krya. It can be done on the floor or a chair. Mindful yoga suits you if want a gentler restorative class. This is a suitable class if you have certain ailments, such as with knees, hips, back, neck, shoulders or headaches. It also helps reduce stress and improve sleep. A gentle Mindful Yoga class has the same structure and has all the components as a Kundalini class.

Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra is an ancient technique in which you learn to relax consciously by being lead in a specific guided meditation. Through the systematic practice of Yoga Nidra, threefold tensions can be released; Muscular tension, Emotional tension and Mental tension. The practice of Yoga Nidra is a deeply relaxing experience.

Yoga Art is a kundalini yoga class with an artistic component that gives an additional experience.
Kundalini is a Sanskrit word that means "coiled up". Kundalini is the latent creative energy in every person, it is the creative potential in you, a seed, waiting to unfold. The complementary practices of yoga and art create a place where both the rational and mystical can work together. A regular pratice of yoga and art allows us to be creative, giving us a degree of objectivity which leads to better judgement which, when combined with forgiveness ,expands the self by speaking the languages of both rational analysis and creative intuition.
You do not need to have any artistic experience but instead allow yourself to tune in to your intuition.

Breath Walking
Breathwalk has it's foundations in Kundalini yoga and is the science of combining specific patterns of breathing synchronized with your walking steps and enhanced with the art of directed, meditative attention. Breathwalk is simple, natural and effective giving you an immediate path to physical and mental fitness. People who Breathwalk often report that it enhances their efforts in other exercise or meditation endeavors.
Breathwalk gives you exercise, personal growth, meditative experience, stress mastery and a clear mind to feel your spirit more easily.
We meet at an arranged meeting point outside in the beautiful Orkney countryside. The class structure:
The class is 75 -90 mins. We walk on easy walking grounds and walk at a calm pace. Here the Orkney weather will be our greatest challenge, so dress accordingly!

There are meditations that reduce stress, work on addictions, increase vitality, and clear chakras, to name a few. While there exist many, many styles and approaches to meditation, what sets this approach to meditation apart is its precision, effectiveness, and practicality. - (3HO)
In these classes we will still follow the structure o f a Kundalini class, but in these there will be a focus on longer meditations of a variety of forms, all within the tradition of Kundalini Yoga.
