Vedic Art is founded by a Swedish artist, Curt Källman, who worked closely with the Indian Yogi Maharishi Mahesh. Together they developed the 17 principles which is the core of Vedic Art.
Vedic Art is an intuitive painting method that guides you to connect to your true self via the 17 principles that work on a subconscious level allowing your inner artist to manifest on the empty canvas. You do not need any previous experience to benefit.
Vedic Art cannot be learned from the books or notes - it has to be experienced. When you step away from thinking and logic, you enter the clear state of being connected, you enter into your creativity. The only boundaries that exist are within your own self. By learning how to release them, you can create the works of art that you never thought were possible. But that’s just a by-product of Vedic Art. As Yves Klein said “Paintings are ashes left over after the fire that was there”. The real magic is the process of connecting to your true self.
Experiencing the 17 principles of Vedic Art, you gain the opportunity to:
- Awaken YOURSELF!
- Remember how to express yourself fully and delve deeper into the creative process.
- Begin to create without demand or planning.
- Become comfortable in the natural creative process, maintaining your own ground and not being subject to outside influences.
- Begin to see things in a wider perspective.
- Feel more confident about yourself and your capabilities. As a result you’ll feel happier about making bolder decisions.

“Vedic Art does not teach how to paint - No - Vedic Art is a way to remember how to paint and how art can be created. From the very start, when we hear about the seventeen Vedic Principles of Art, we begin to remember the whole story of life, from where we come, and where we are going.
