What happens at a Sound bath? First we do a Yoga class suitable for all, which prepares us for the deep relaxation. This is followed by a guided mediattation, Yoga Nidra, before we fall into a deeper restful state “bathing” in the sound waves of the gong. This is followed by a mantra meditation. Sound meditation helps to heal your resting nervous system, stimulate your glandular system as well as helping you to tackle life on a day to day basis by relieving tension and quieting the mind. While you’ll feel deeply relaxed during the class, some people will also find it helps them to relax outside of the session, sleep better and deal with stress more easily. Sound Baths bring an intense sense of well-being and re-stabilize the balance of energies.
